Situated in Lawrenceville, NJ, the Old Forge team managed the construction of a self-storage center’s phase 1 component prior to being purchased by another operator. From presenting to the township for Planning Board approvals to actual project execution, the full scope was completed in roughly six months. As a venture under our management’s ownership, OFB was able to directly utilize relationships with a pre-engineered metal building manufacturer to install 3 single-story units of varying dimensions.
The Old Forge Builders team also coordinated the access control and security components of the project – ensuring a clean, safe, and secure space for renters to have peace of mind for their valuables’ protection. Inclusive of site work and full-time supervision, the project’s valuation came in at approximately $2,500,000. Holding true to our focus as a general contractor and not a storage operator, our ownership stake was sold to the business’ partner.
