About OFB

"Residential and Commercial Development, Design Build, Value Engineering, Architectural Services, and Custom Building For Over 30 Years"

Old Forge Builders (OFB) is a family business that offers construction services in all things residential and commercial; design build, value engineering, architectural services, and custom building. For over 30 years, OFB has been successfully operating in both the residential and commercial markets. The Central Jersey based construction company was founded in 1983 by President Dave Pape. Throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s, OFB primarily focused its attention on land development and residential building, quietly establishing itself as a premier construction company.

In 2002 Dave’s son, Nick became part of the company and eventually took on an executive role. Over the next decade the company reconfigured itself to take on commercial projects in additional to their residential development projects. Today, the OFB portfolio includes hundreds of homes as well as office buildings, child care facilities, restaurants, storage facilities, animal care facilities, car washes, and much more.
